On Monday, June 28th, the Court will be upgrading its CM/ECF system to NextGen. All electronic filers will be required to have their own individual PACER account. This includes limited-use filers.
To prepare for NextGen, you will need to upgrade your PACER account if it was issued prior to August 11, 2014. If you do not have a PACER account, you will need to register for a new account.
If you are an attorney or trustee that currently has multiple filing accounts, you will instead need to use filing agents after NextGen is implemented. Therefore, it is recommended that you create filing agents for your existing multiple accounts prior to the upgrade to NextGen. Each filing agent will also need their own PACER account. The court strongly recommends that all electronic filers take these steps as soon as possible to avoid any filing delays after the upgrade to NextGen on June 28th.
Please refer to the NextGen page on the court’s website for further information.
